Many network marketers ask me “Don, how do you recruit so many people?” Well, the answer is simple. I created a system within a system and I run that system over-and-over again.

In my 7-Part MLM Mini Series I talked about creating “You Inc.”. I hope you remember that training because that is the backbone for my business. (www.basicMVPrecruiting.com)

I created Basic MVP Marketing because I wanted to brand myself. Now, I know that I have said this a lot, but it’s true. And now, my network marketing company is just a part of my Basic MVP Marketing business model. (visit www.basicMVPinvestor.com).

But, I didn’t want to talk about branding myself during this training. I want to focus on recruiting with “Posture”.

You see, once I branded myself I immediately took on a posture that I had never had before. Therefore, whenever I talk to prospects I have a lot of posture in my words and actions.

Remember, a lot of people join certain network marketing companies because of the leadership. People join people. People will not join a company that has weak leadership. Trust me, they are a dime a dozen and companies with weak leadership fade away very quickly.

So, that means you have to gain some posture so you can recruit the world. If you believe that you can make $100K a year or a month, then you can. I know that I can, and it shows in my posture.

One of the biggest tips I want to leave you with today is “Don’t You Ever Beg Your Prospects For Anything”. The word “Please” should rarely come out of your mouth when you are speaking to a prospect. Yes, I said it, and I’ll say it again. “Avoid saying Please”.

Why?

You should be demanding respect from the very beginning. Look at these two lines:

1) “Will you please take a look at this video tonight?”

2) “Take a look at this video tonight and I’ll call you tomorrow at 6pm or 8am, which time is better?”

As you can see the second phrase is much better than the first phrase. It is said with a lot of posture and will get your prospects to take action a lot quicker. That is what you want and that is how you recruit the best of the best.

How To Keep Satisfied Customers by Donald Latimore

I see a lot of network marketers that bring new recruits and new customers into their business all the time but they fail to do the one fundamental thing to keep them. This happens especially with new customers as opposed to new recruits in the network marketing world.

What is it you may be asking?

Well, most network marketers don’t go into a retention mode to keep their customers satisfied. Retention should be a major part of your business model, or else, all the work you did to get the customer was for nothing.

Just think about this…

As a paying customer of a product or service, how would you like to be treated both before and after the sale?

You want the sales person to show some appreciation towards you. You want the sales person to acknowledge that you chose to spend your money with him/her rather than go to the competition. Right?

So, in the network marketing world you have to remember this as well. What’s unfortunate is that network marketers spend so much time focusing on recruiting that almost no time is spent on customer retention.

As a network marketer there are many ways you can continue to follow-up with your customers to ensure they stay with you and show your appreciation. Here is a small list:

1) Periodically send them out mailers on how to use the product or service
2) Send them cards on special occasions (birthdays, holidays, etc.)
3) Call them once a quarter to see how the product or service is working for them (I love this method because it personalizes each contact)
4) Place them on an autoresponder to continue to get e-mails from you
5) Immediately send them a small gift after they purchased your product or service

One thing that I want you to remember is that the more customers you can retain, the more you will have a chance to achieve the residual income you are looking for.

In this industry people think you have to do something magical to keep customers. But, you don’t. You just have to have a regular system set up to show your customers you care. Customer retention should be addressed just like large fortune 500 companies address it. They know that it takes more money to acquire a new customer than it does to retain and sell to your existing ones.

And remember, even your new recruits are your customers as well. The more you get your organization to follow-up with your customers, the more customers your organization will retain.

"How To Get Free Website Traffic By Using The Power Of Craigslist.Com"

Craigslist.com is one of the largest advertising websites available. Craigslist.com receives over 10 million visitors per month. So, what does that mean for you as a network marketer?

That means that you can capitalize on all the visitors that Craigslist.com receives if you advertise there. And the good thing is that you can advertise for free in most cases on Craigslist.com.

Our Building On A Budget series goes into great depth on how you can set up campaigns on Craigslist.com. However, I want to point out a few keys points here.

I also advertise on Craigslist.com for both my primary MLM as well as for Basic MVP Marketing. Since I am able to put in which city I want my ad to be viewed as well as which category I want my ad displayed in, my ad is considered a targeted ad campaign.

Do you want to know what the best part is?

This is all FREE targeted traffic. Since I send all my visitors to my capture page they automatically enter my lead funnel.

So, if you are Building On A Budget, then Craiglist.com is definitely a good advertising source that you want to take advantage of.

I want to caution you about something though. Please keep in mind that it is best to send your visitors to a capture page, not a generic website that won’t compel them to do anything and won’t allow you to capture their information. It is also good to already know which ads are converting by running a Google Adwords campaign first.

800 People In 5 Months"

I call people all the time and help them with their MLM business. Why? Because I strongly believe in the theory that leaders do three things:
Know The Way
Go The Way
But more importantly…Show The Way!

On February 16, 2008 I called and spoke to Tyrone H. and he advised me that he is looking at an MLM opportunity where he can be considered one of the founders if he can recruit 800 people by October 31, 2008. Tyrone asked me how he would be able to get that done.

I thought this would be excellent information for everyone. So, I am going to tell you today what my response was. But, the beauty in what I am going to share with you today is that you are going to get a lot more detailed information than I was able to relay to Tyrone over the phone during our one hour conversation.

So, here we go…

I am going to stick with the basics because the basics are what you need in order to be a successful network marketer. I know that you see so many different angles on how to build a successful MLM business, however, when you peel off the layers on all the fluff you are left with the basic principles.

Remember, a carpenter can’t successfully make what he needs without a hammer and nails. I consider those tools as parts of the “basics”.

So, in order to recruit a massive amount of people you have to understand the “Law of Attraction”. Of course, it isn’t really a law at all, but work with me. You have to understand what is going to make people want to take action.

In network marketing, most network marketers want to know how to run their business better. They see all of those people in their company making all that money and they want to be one of the big guys too. So, your job is to appeal to them. At least that is who I would appeal to.

Your target market should be network marketers. Why? Because they have already proven they will spend money on a business and they are focused on creating a better lifestyle for themselves. If you need to recruit 800 people in 5 months then you don’t have time to waste on uninterested people. So, your job is to be unique.

Here are the tools you will need to recruit 800 people in 5 months…

A Content Worthy “How To” Product (Magnetic Sponsoring)
An Autoresponder (Awebber Communications)

Google Adwords (Pay-Per-Click)

A Content Worthy “How To” Product

The purpose of having a content worthy “How To” product is so you can capture the attention of network marketers. I mean think about it…would you take action to receive additional information if what someone was offering was stupid? No.

But, don’t overthink this because this is only a piece of the pie, not the pie itself. You should make sure you understand the value of the “How To” product and you have used it before yourself. This is great because this allows you to be a walking testimonial and you know the product works.

I personally use the Magnetic Sponsoring instruction manual as the “How To” course that I offer because I know the information inside the manual is valuable and it works. I use the same principles every day to grow my MLM business and the manual is only $39. So, it won’t make someone go bankrupt in order to get it. Besides, if someone really wants to be an MLM powerhouse, then they can find an easy $39.

So, now you have your “How To” product that you can use to attract people to you. So, you want to create your own web page with your own web form, then offer Magnetic Sponsoring as your “How To” product or just one of your “How To” products.

Now, you have your “How To” product, your capture page, and an autoresponder to be able to follow-up with your opt-in subscribers. So, what do you do with them?

Duh, you need to call the people that opted in to receive the information you promised them.

Buy following this simple system you will have a targeted group of people opting in to your list. Since you are only targeting other network marketers, you will be able to recruit those people much easier because they came to you by way of your “How To” product.

There is some very important information that I need to share with you.

A Capture Page

You have to make sure the information on your capture page is written in a compelling way. I’m sorry but even if you think you are a great writer you may not be good enough to get people that visit your website to take action and leave their information. Therefore, I recommend a book that you can pick up at a bookstore or online by Dan S. Kennedy called “The Ultimate Sales Letter”. I learned how to write compelling articles by reading this book. I learned the Do’s and Don’t of writing good copy.

Every successful internet marketers has probably read this book. Guaranteed!

There are also a few dynamics that you have to consider when formatting a good capture page. The MLM Traffic Formula details this out very well. Unfortunately, there is too much information for me to go into here but I will do my best with giving you some of the specifics.

Your capture page must have the following:

Pre-Amble Headline
Headline
Subheadline
Body text
Web form

Again, all the pieces must be compelling. You only have about 20 seconds to capture a visitor’s attention when they first open your web page. So you have to grab their attention fast.

Please remember the basics of modern day network marketing. You shouldn’t advertise your company’s product or service up front. You will lose people because nobody cares about your company’s product or service. They care about what you can do for them to help their current business. So, you have to be able to market your “How To” product.

Google Adwords (Pay-Per-Click)

One of the quickest and most cost effective methods to market your “How To” product is to create a Google Adwords (Pay-Per-Click) campaign. The beauty of doing this is that you can target a specific group of people. Since your goal is to recruit network marketers, then you should create your campaigns that appeal to network marketers.

Perry Marshall has a book called “The Definitive Guide To Google Adwords” and he goes into great detail how to create and manage a successful Google Adwords campaign. This book is the basic building blocks to internet marketing and recruiting a massive amount of people.

Don’t get caught up on worrying about how much you are going to spend when people click on your ad. You can set all the spending limits yourself. I even started off small, I’m talking a few dollars per day until I was able to continuously build it to a much larger scale. And I am going to tell you, I believe doing a pay-per-click campaign outpaces marketing in any newspaper or magazine because you target the people you want to see your add and you set the spending limit. You pay for the results you are getting. Unfortunately, marketing in a newspaper or magazine is the other way around. You have to pay first.

I can tell you it cost me $75 to run a one-time add in a paper with 3 lines. I didn’t get any calls, or anyone to visit my website. However, after I bombed with that I took another $75 with the same 3 lines of text and ran a Google Adwords campaign and got 28 Leads (opt-in subscribers) and sold 4 books, each making me $20 in affiliate commissions. So, guess what, I actually made $5 when I ran that add.

Just think, if you had a Google Adwords campaign running and you had 50 clicks per day and 25% of those people ( approximately 12 people) opted in to receive your information, then that is 360 people per month.

But get this…that’s 360 network marketers per month, not Uncle Bubba that doesn’t give a damn about what you are doing.

So, in 5 months, that’s 1,800 “Hot” network marketing leads that you can work to build your MLM business to 800 associates. That’s only a 44% closing ratio if you recruited 800 out of the 1,800 and I am usually at least at a 50 closing ratio. And if you can’t call all those people, then get a business partner that will help you do it.

These numbers are very real and highly obtainable. They don’t say you are perfect at all. These numbers say on 25% of your visitors request your information. And out of that 25%, only 44% will join you. Expect better results.

You should focus on other marketing strategies as well, not just pay-per-click. You should write articles, blogs, and press releases as well that will funnel traffic towards your capture page so you can work those leads and possibly recruit them.

The MLM Traffic Formula talked about many different ways you can expose your MLM business. One of the ways it talked about was writing a blog.

I can tell you that writing blogs is an important piece to my business. I mean look around, I have been able to build this entire training center with a bunch of blogs.

Was that easy to do? Yes, and No.

It wasn’t easy to do because I had to make sure the information that I provided to other network marketers was valuable content to them. I mean just think about it, you wouldn’t continue to keep coming back if the information I provided was not useful to your MLM business.

On the flip side, it was easy to create the MLM Training Center because I know the information that is important to other network marketers, and I know how to write blogs.

In a nutshell, writing blogs is a way for you to be able to write some content that can get published on the web for free most of the time.

Google, offers their blogs for free.

Therefore, once you have a capture page and an autoresponder service set up like Aweber.com, you can start writing blogs to stay in constant contact with your list.

Just remember, blogs can be syndicated so they can be open to the public which can also help drive traffic to your capture page. Blogs can also get spidered by the search engines.

Bottom Line Approach

I know I talked bout it before, but I want to recap for you on how your business should be ran if you want ultimate success.

1) Have an online capture page with compelling headline and copy (Do NOT try and sell people on your capture page)

2) Make sure the capture page has an opt-in form so you can get your visitors information (name, e-mail, phone number)
*
3) Once they opt-in, send them to your sales letter (This is where you try and make a sell on your retail product so you can make money before you talk to them. This retail product should start to satisfy the reason why they opted-in at the beginning)

4) Since the new opt-in subscriber will be placed on an auto-responder anyways once they filled out the opt-in form on the capture page, make sure you have enough follow-up messages that supports your bottom line.

Let me stop here.

Most network marketers would probably tell me that there bottom line is to recruit more reps or to sell a product to their opt-in subscribers at this point.

I strongly disagree!

I disagree because if your bottom line is to just recruit someone or sell a product to them the relationship between the both of you won’t last. Why? Because once you’ve satisfied your bottom line your motivation to serve changes. Therefore, you may need to rethink about our bottom line.

From the start, your opt-in subscriber is looking for a solution. That’s the only reason why they trust you and believe in you. Once they feel you are not there to genuinely help them, they are gone.

Therefore, your bottom line approach should be the following:
“To build a strong enough relationship with your opt-in subscribers through copy that would cause them to tell other people about the service you are giving them”

When you take this approach you have a viral affect every time and your motivation can never change because you are constantly a servant leader.

Now, let’s see how this relates to network marketing.

In any MLM company they will tell you that the people that are most likely to join your business are your “Hots” or your “warm market” people. Right? These are people that you know and they have a certain level of trust and respect for you as a person.

In traditional network marketing, if you are trying to do cold prospecting, eventually you are going to have to turn them into a “warm market” prospect before they even do anything. This could take time.

But, now let’s go back to my “Bottom Line” approach.
“To build a strong enough relationship with your opt-in subscribers through copy that would cause them to tell other people about the service you are giving them”

Once you build a strong enough relationship with someone, they will turn into a warm market prospect for you. In turn, they are more likely to buy from you, allow themselves to get recruited, and tell other people about you.

Now, let me tell you why I focus a lot on network marketers telling other network marketers about me.

When someone seeks you out, they more than likely already have a high trust value in what you can provide them so it’s much easier to guide them through any sales system you may have. Your approach should never be to deceive people but you can get what you want as you are focusing on what other people want. I know you've heard that before.

So, the more people you have that find value in the information you are providing them, will tell more people about you and that viral affect will have customers chasing you down regardless of whether you want them to or not.

This will ultimately casue the business explosion you've always been looking for.

So, they key is to make sure you have a clear bottom line but also you have an automatic system set up that will help you to build a relationship with your prospects.

Domain Names & E-mail Accounts

"You Are Losing Money When You Don't Have Your Own Domain Name & E-Mail Account! You Need To read This To Find Out Why..."

One of the funniest things that I see when I either review my e-mails, search the internet, or someone is trying to offer me something is an e-mail address from a free site like yahoo, google, gmail, etc.

This let's me immediately know that the personal that is trying to solicit me doesn't fully understand the fundamentals to marketing.

Why?

Almost anytime you register your own domain name you have an opportunity to register an e-mail account with that domain name.

For example, you can go onto GoDaddy.com and register a domain name for less than $10 per year. That domain name that you register is yours to keep (at least for a year).

Therefore, if you are selling a particluar product or service you can register a domain name that is similar to the product or service you are offering.

If you are offering MLM leads, then you can register a domain name that would let people know what your website is all about leads. I promoted MLM training and marketing products. Therefore, my domain names are: http://www.basicmvp.com/, http://www.basicmvpmarkting.com/, and http://www.basicmvptraining.com/.

Again, once you register a domain name you can set up an e-mail account for that domain name. Once I registered http://www.basicmvp.com/ I immediately started to set up my e-mail accounts for that domain name. Here are some of the e-mail addresses I was able to set up:
Donald@basicMVP.com, Support@basicMVP.com, Testimonials@basicMVP.com

Having your own domain name and e-mail account is vital for the success of your business. Even if your not making any money it makes you look like you are. You look professional and like you are ready to do business. If you want people to take you seriously, then you need to invest in a proper domain name.

Take some time to really think about a really good domain name. Don't just get one because you think it's cute. Remember, it needs to be niche specific.

Why You Shouldn't Market With Your Company's E-mail Address!

I just want to take a moment to talk about the problem with giving out an e-mail address that tells what MLM you are a part of. I can tell you that this kills your prospecting efforts.

Remember from the MLM Traffic Formula that your MLM business should just be a part of your overall business model "You Inc.". Therefore, you shouldn't be giving out your company assigned e-mail address as your primary e-mail address.

Just think, every time you give out a company assigned e-mail address your prospect already knows what company you represent. So, there's no curiosity in that. Trust me, and a lot of times your prospect was probably already hit up by somebody else about your MLM opportunity.

Now, you know why they don't should up to those meetings huh?

Listen, you can get a niche specific domain name and e-mail account from various sources. Just make sure you get one. I have found http://www.godaddy.com/ to be very useful for me because they have a tech support that can help guide you through the process.

Writing Articles To Build A Downline

Writing Articles Can Be An Explosive Way To Build A Downline 24/7. You Write The Article Once, Then Let It Ride! Here's The Reality...

I am going to talk reality about writing articles to build a downline.

Some people have noticed that I get online traffic from many different sources. I do pay-per-click marking, I write blogs, I subscribe to free traffic generation site, and I write articles.

I can say that writing articles is one of the best ways to get targeted traffic to my capture pages. Writing articles allows me to be able to be able to target a specific message to a specific niche.

If I wanted to write an article about food, fitness, or law I can. However, since I target primarily network marketers I can write articles specifically for network marketers.

What's The Key?

The key to writing a successful article is to write about something they are interested in knowing about. I know you have already heard it before that you have to provide valuable content.

That is so true!

But, even if you write a compelling article, you have to know how to target the people to your capture page effectively.

I read so many articles that are only content based and they don’t lead to anywhere. They don’t compel the reader to take action and even go to a capture page. This makes writing the article a waste of time for the person who wrote it.

Understand this, as a network marketer your job is to recruit people and sell products. That’s it, bottom line. That means you should write articles in a way in which they target a specific niche so it can draw those people in to you. Once those people get close, then you can start to build the relationship to recruit them or sale your products to them.

I want to end with this note. This may actually be one of the most important things you learn about the value of writing an article to build a downline.

When you write an article and submit it to article directories such as GoArticles.com, ArticleCity.com, etc., you can get those articles published for free. Once those articles are published, they can get spidered by the search engines.

What does this mean?

This means you should write an article that targets readers to your capture page, submit it to the article directories, and watch it get spidered by the search engines.

If you do this right, then over time your capture page will move up in rank because it is getting traffic from all the articles you have written.

Don't worry, if you don't like to write articles, there are people that will write them for you for a small fee.

Football or Network Marketing?

You may not be a big football fan, but I am so read this anyway because it’s good!

I was watching football the other day and I couldn’t help but to notice what was happening on the field. I noticed every time the defensive line got near the quarterback and was ready to sack him, the quarterback started to scramble around trying to find the first player on his team he could throw the ball to.

It happened every time.

Sometimes, the quarterback couldn’t find anyone so he threw the ball away. Other times, he may have found someone to throw the ball to, but they were not necessarily the best person to receive the ball at the time. But he got rid of it anyway.

You see, that’s what we do in the network marketing industry.

When network marketers are not getting the results they are looking for with one product or one company they start scrambling around for another one.

Everything may be great at first, until they get to a point where they have to scramble again.

A quarterback has to scramble a lot throughout one football game. Why?

Because he can’t find any eligible receivers!
Because his offensive line didn’t quite block for him good enough!
Because he didn’t run the play correctly!

So Donald what are you really saying?

In network marketing if you can’t generate enough leads to be successful, then you are going to scramble around for the next best thing (YOU can’t find any eligible receivers).
In network marketing if you don’t generate some income from the retail sales of a front-end product, then you run the risk of running out of money while you are trying to build your MLM business. So, you scramble around for the next best thing (your offensive line can’t block long enough for you to complete the pass).
In network marketing if you don’t know how to market your business correctly, and I’m not talking about being possessed about a particular product, then you are going to fail. Your business is MARKETING so you need to know how to run the right plays.

Unfortunately, too many network marketers spend all their time scrambling around trying to find the next big thing they can grab a hold to and they don’t spend any time learning how to market their business.

If you got down this far in this training, then here is my message to you…

You got into the network marketing business to make money. But you won’t make any real money until you learn how to do it right.

This is NOT something that Donald made up, this is reality, and I had to learn it to.

A football player can’t be in the NFL without knowing all the in’s and out’s of the game.

Think of banner ads as the spice in your affiliate diet. Sprinkle them around, but for a heartier helping of sales, you'll need something more solid! Learn to give your visitors longer, more descriptive pre-sales text. Revamp your affiliate advertising using these simple steps:

Pull the Reader in
Introduce the Product
Explain the Product's Significance
Tell the Reader to Make a Purchase

Pull the Reader in
To convince your audience that your text is worth reading, make your first sentence or two very interesting. Make a bold statement, say something seemingly ridiculous, or appeal to your prospect's emotional side. Then, tie this grabber in with the rest of your copy.

Introduce the Product
What is the product you're advertising? What does it do? Directly after your grabber, give a compact explanation of your product. Keep this explanation short, while still being very clear. This should still be a very short section of your text.

Explain the Product's Significance

What will it do for me?

By writing your own copy, you can directly target your unique audience. Make the most of this opportunity! Clearly explain how your readers will benefit from this product.

No one knows your audience like you do. Suggest a variety of product uses just for them, and give examples. This is the time for details - make this section long and rich.

Tell the Reader to Make a Purchase
You've come so far - you've laid out exactly what the product is and how it will help your unique audience. Now, seal the deal - tell your readers to purchase the product! Include your affiliate link in this section.

This step may sound strange, but it's necessary. Often, people hear about a product and are genuinely interested, but fail to actually make a purchase. A clear call to a simple action cuts down on buyer ambivalence. Don't be pushy - just change your verb tenses to the imperative. Instead of:

"If you think that you fit this profile, you might want to think about buying this product."

Say: "Click here to order an account today."

Drive Sales - Use Long Copy
If you don't feel ready to write long copy yourself, ask your affiliate program manager for help! Many companies release well-written articles by respected authors that you can reprint free of charge.

The novelty of the Web is wearing off. People online now are busy. Surfers won't make a purchase unless you make a great case for what they'll get out of it. And you're not going to do that with just a banner ad.

Tracking Your Results Part 1

I can remember when I first started my MLM career and I would spend a lot of time passing out company DVD’s, cassettes, flyers, business cards, magazines, and newsletters. I mean, if it was available for me to give away to someone, then I would.

This was all during the time where I was working full time at my job, but part-time on my fortune (Like Jim Rohn used to say).

After work I would take my marketing tools THAT I PAID FOR, and go to the mall, a grocery store, a park, wherever, just to get them passed out.

Now, I was one of the smart network marketers. I would never give away a tool without getting a phone number in return (That’s the problem with most network marketers, but that’s a different training).

Moving on…

So, I would get 3-10 new prospects each day because I wanted to have enough people that I could follow up with before the next meeting.

All of this activity was ok, however, I wasn’t tracking everything that I was doing at first.

What do you mean Don?

I would sometimes spend hours in a location on a particular day and only get 1 prospect. Then, I would move to another location where I would probably get another 2-3. This process went on and on everyday.

This is what I should have done from the beginning…

I should have created my own tracking system so I could see where I was getting the biggest bang for my buck.

I mean, I was spending a certain amount each month on marketing tools. I was prospecting a certain amount of people each day. I got a certain amount of leads each day. A certain amount of people came to the meetings each week. A certain amount of people signed up as customers and distributors.

All of that activity could be tracked on a napkin, even if you don’t have the right tracking tools!

Once you track your results, and you know your metrics, then you will know where you should be spending most of your time, energy, and money.

Now, I am an online marketer, but I want to continue talking about offline marketing for just a bit because most people can relate to this. This is a very passionate area for me so I want to make sure I drive this concept into very well.

So, read PART TWO of this lesson so you can get some examples of tracking your results.

Tracking Your Results Part 2

"Chop Your Marketing Expenses & Explode Your Income...All At The Same Time By Knowing How To Track Your Resluts"

You have to track EVERYTHING you do. Put a dollar value on your time. This way you know what goals you need to hit.

For example, I always take my last year’s income and compute an hourly wage to it. That’s a simple math formula. For this example I won’t use my income because I want you to be able to see how this can be done with a realistic income that most people are at.

If you made $50k last year, then your hourly rate is about $24.03

52 weeks x 40 hrs per week=2,080 hours per year
$50,000/2,080 hrs=$24.03

So, your time is worth $24.03 per hour that you market your business. Therefore, if you spend 10 hours per week marketing your business (this includes meetings), then you need to make at least $240.30 per week with your business ($961.20 per month).

Remember, time is money. Therefore, time ALWAYS needs to be included in your metrics.

So, let’s go back to the beginning so you can see how you should start the process of calculating your metrics.

Let’s look at your metrics Marketing OFFLINE…
You spend $150 per month on marketing tools (DVD’s, magazines, etc.)
You spend $30 per month as part of the company membership
You spend $40 per month on gas to get you to the various places for your business
You spend $961.20 per month worth of time (10 hrs/wk x 4 wks x $24.03/hr)
You spend another $25 on incidentals
This totals=$1,206.20 per month on expenses (To receive about 40 warm leads-10 per week)

Only 25% of your prospects will show up at meetings if you are lucky (that’s 10 people per month).
Of those 10 people, you will only close about 50% of those people (that’s 5 clients and/or distributors per month).

This means that you need to make at least $1206.20 per month from those 5 clients and/or distributors per month for this business to be worth your Time, Energy, and Money.

The good thing is that if you follow this guide, then you would have made $961.20 each month for yourself. But that only pays for your time. That doesn’t mean that’s a profit. A profit is anything AFTER these results.

You see, too many network marketers spend all this time doing things that don’t produce any results at all because that is how the network marketing generic comp plan is designed.

A network marketer is suppose to pour a lot of their blood, sweat, and equity into their business at first for years before they can start to see a return.

Without tracking your results properly, your are unable to sustain your business for long term success.

In a nutshell…
This means, if you are dealing with a product with a low payout, then it is going to be very difficult, if not impossible, for you to hit these metrics. (If you would like to learn more about my team MLM CLICK Here)

Why? Because you are going to be spending a lot more time to produce the results you are looking for.

This is why I went to the online marketing model

Marketing online allows me to be able to be able to have MASSIVE results, in a shorter period of time. This is what I learned in Magnetic Sponsoring.

Just think, be able to market your business to millions of people with the click of a button. Even if you were able to market your MLM to .1% of a million people each month online. That’s 1,000 new prospects each month.

How long would it take for you to market to 1,000 people doing the traditional face-to-face marketing methods? A lot longer than a month.

So now, let’s look at your metrics Marketing ONLINE… (based on 1,000 leads/month)

Of those 250 people, you will only close about 50% of those people (that’s 125 clients and/or distributors per month).

Which method makes more sense to you?

I just showed you the power of tracking your results and understanding your metrics, both offline and online. Of course, online is much better!

“5 Simple Steps I Did To Cause My MLM Explosion From The Very Beginning”

I remember when I went to my very first “Big Event” with one of my first network marketing companies. Prior to the training they were selling training materials in the hallways. (You know how they do it!)

Since I was struggling at the time I bought a set of CD’s called “Power Training”. Much like the other 5,000 people that were at the event I wanted to find the secret that I didn’t know. I wanted to find that little piece of information that was going to allow my business to sky rocket. You know that “Golden Nugget”.

I spent $40 on those training CD’s. I listened to those CD’s in my car, at work, and at home. I listed to those CD’s so much that I was able to recite what the speaker was going to say before he said it.

The reason why I listened to those CD’s so much is because I was still looking for that piece of knowledge that I didn’t already know. But I never found it. Instead, I listed to motivational CD’s over and over again.

You see, I think too many trainers avoid training. Instead, they spend all their time motivating people to take action but there’s no “How To” involved.

But, if you are like me, then you are looking for answers.

You are looking for ways in which you could make some more money.

You are looking for ways in which you could have some time freedom.

So, ok. I am going to give it to you. I’m going to tell you...

"The 5-simple steps that I did to help me to explode my MLM business From The Very Beginning"

I mean, that’s what you want right? I hope so because I don’t write these articles for no reason.

Step 1
I learned how to market my business correctly. I wanted to do more than just be a sales person for some company. I wanted to learn how to market to people using up-to-date marketing methods. I invested my time (big time) in online network marketing training.

Why did I choose online network marketing training? Because I knew that in order for me to personally recruit 200+ people per month then I had to expand my target market bigger than the few places I could drive my car.

During my training time I was approached by so many people that wanted to recruit me for their business, though I already had my own MLM business. I turned them all down because I was determined to learn the art of network marketing. I didn’t want to be swayed by any company tactics or any company tools.

I wanted to learn how to be a successful network marketer. This information was shared with me in Magnetic Sponsoring.

Step 2
Once I understood the concepts of Magnetic Sponsoring I started to advertise my business. I knew that if I wanted to see huge returns, then I would have to risk a little to gain a lot. I knew that my activity knowledge was going to help me to understand the concepts taught in Magnetic Sponsoring.

My activity taught me through the results that I was receiving.

Step 3
Once I started attracting some prospects (through my lead capture pages) I then focused on how I could monetize the traffic I was getting so I could get some of my advertising money back. Though this was knew for me, but that is what I was taught to do. So, I focused on front end retail sales to the leads I was getting.

At first, I was only receiving about 2 leads per week, but then the magic happened when I was able to increase my advertising budget because my front end retail sales increased. My advertising budget went from $50 per month to $150 per month.

But, the coolest thing is that I wasn’t paying for any of the advertising I was receiving. The front end retail money(monetization) that I was receiving was paying for all of my advertising. This is a vital step taught in Magnetic Sponsoring.

I was able to advertise my business for free and keep all the leads I was receiving from my lead capture pages.

So, I did what I was trained to do in Magnetic Sponsoring…which leads me to step number 4.

Step 4
I increased my ad budget again. I mean my front end retail sales were covering my ad budget so I wasn’t really spending any of my own money on advertising for my MLM business.

I set a date each month (which was the 25th) that I would either break even or profit from the monetization that was occurring during the prospecting process. I was able to hit that goal month-over-month.

So, with the increased ad budget I was able to go from 2 leads per week to 2 leads per day. That let me know that I was on to something big.

I had a running business at that point.

I had my own lead capture page, I was receiving income from multiple front end retail products, I was able to generate my own qualified “HOT” leads, and I was able to sponsor many of those people into my MLM.

This was the business system I learned through Magnetic Sponsoring; You, Inc.

Step 5
I focused all my energy in learning how to communicate what I learned to all of my prospects. I knew that I was not going to be able to take on all these people by myself so I learned how to automate my business so the leaders that I was recruiting could do the same thing that I was doing.

This was crucial for me because it allowed me to stay focused on the bigger picture.

Final Thoughts
I did these 5 steps in order. I didn’t try and skip a beat. I wanted to learn the art of network marketing. I wanted to be a master in my field.

I continued to do these 5 steps regardless of how big or how small the return was. Why? Because the return was always bigger than my investment (R.O.I.).

Now, I will say that I am not a master yet. I don’t think any of us are because there is always an internet marketer that has a different trick up their sleeve.

But, if you only take one thing from this article, I want it to be that you have to invest in learning how to market correctly; not from your company, from your own research. That is how you are going to learn how to market to people in today’s market.

I mean, with the concepts I learned in Magnetic Sponsoring, and especially in the MLM Traffic Formula, I can market to any industry, and that’s where you want to be.

Writing A Compelling headline

Here's Why...

The goal of a good headline is to get your reader’s attention. Remember, you only have about 20 seconds to captivate the reader enough to continue to keep reading. Most people skim over information, especially if there is a lot of information to read.

(EXAMPLES of some good headlines below)

You should focus on using a good a compelling headline whenever you are trying to gain someone’s attention through copy. This should be used when

building an online capture page

sending newsletters to prospects, or even

when sending e-mail.

Remember, people are now bombarded with information from many different sources. So, that means you have to do whatever you can to capture their attention and stand out.

All of this information can be found in the MLM Traffic Formula. If you would like to learn how to write compelling sales letters then I would suggest for you to pick up Dan Kennedy’s book “The Ultimate Sales Letter”.

Moving right along…

I think too many people put up websites with the intent to make money but they don’t every make any because they don’t know how to properly capture a person’s attention at the very beginning. I know that I have a short attention span at times, especially when I am very busy.

Without a compelling headline, it’s a slim to none chance that the information on the capture page will be read. For example, look at these two headlines:

“DVD for $19.99 on Multi-Level Marketing”

“Learn The 7-Secrets On How To Explode Your MLM Business That Only The Pros Know”

Which one would capture your attention more?

Probably the second one right? Of course. Now, I’m not going to get into copyrighting secrets right now because that is an entire lesson within itself, but I will say that the second headline would be great to use with the right copy after it.

Here are a few other pointers to use when writing a compelling headline. This information has been tested by some of the best internet marketers today…

Use a Tahoma type 18-point font, or something similar.
The headline should be red and bold face.

Remember, your goal is for your headline to stand out. It should scream “Please Read This Article”.

Another good secret that you would want to use is to get into the habit of creating swipe files. Swipes files are nothing more than word docs that have pages of headlines that you have come across while surfing the internet. (The best swipe files are those relative to the niche you are in)

I can tell you, the bigger your swipe file, the more ideas you will get and the better your headlines will get over time. It will also make writing a compelling headline much easier for you.

So, just to get your swipe files started, here are a few headlines I have created in the past: (feel free to copy/paste them into a word doc)

Every MLM business will have some downline attrition. People have to get started immediately and they have to be able to get a check in their hand as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the typical MLM blueprint doesn't really allow a person to do that.

Tell me if this is familiar: Create a name list, invite a bunch of people to a hotel or to your home, hope that they come, and when they don't then try it again.

The average MLMer spends so much time working on their friends, family, and neighbors that they don't focus on the bigger picture.

Every network marketer needs to know how to create a massive lead generation list. From there, they would build relationships with those people and soon recruit them. If this strategy is not followed, then the new network marketer is gone in 45 days. They won't even wait for the full second month to be done.

So, the question is....

"Donald, how do we create a massive lead generation list?"

Well, like they say in "The Biz",

I'm glad you asked.

In order to beat downline attritition you must be able to convert more leads into distributors.

I mean think about it. If you lose 20% of your organization each month, wouldn't it be smart to recruit that same amount of people each month.

But most network marketers don't see things that way. They only focus on the amount of people they are recruiting and fail to focus on the people that are leaving their business.

Again, downline attrition is going to happen. I can't stress that enough. So, if you have 1,000 people in your organization, then you need to expect to lose 200 each month for various reasons. Now, 200 people is alot to lose if you only have 1,000 people. However, if you only lose 50, then you are doing a pretty good job.

Why? Because if you focused your efforts on recruiting 200 people each month because you expected to lose 200, but you only lost 50, then you will automatically have an additional 150 people at the end of the month (This doesn't take into consideration all your other recruiting efforts as well).

Creating A True Business
